Every year, the Japanese media reports that there’s not a lot of fish, so the price is getting more and more expensive. The cause of this problem is overfishing, but there’s no word about overfishing at all on the news. We shouldn’t cause the fish to rapidly decrease in population, and to make matters worse, fishers are still trying to get fish that were overfished. This means that fishers are working hard to continue getting types of fish that declined in population and haven’t naturally recovered yet. And they’re complaining every year that not a lot of fish are available. I believe that there should be a balance between fishing for food and preserving natural life.
