I lived in Jacksonville as a young kid until i was 6 and one thing i will never forget is the amount of scorpions, pigmies and Eastern Diamondbacks they were plentiful a day didnt go by you didnt see one there!! I could imagine seeing whats in South FL. Now.. I thought as a teen seeing All the parakeets and parrots flying around in Ft.Lauderdale was crazy but now its just the norm i guess..
