The invisible guest. Man, what a masterpiece of a movie. I wish I could rewatch it over and over for the first time.

"Wind River" is on it's own. It's a masterpiece.

Wind river is the best thriller in the list personally ... having said that, I haven’t seen other films... the reason wind thriller hits hard is because it tells the real life emotional story in a nail biting thriller style, through may seem slow at times but deserves 11/10 for telling the suffering of red Indians in a manner which is raw and hard hitting at same time ... and all others films are based on fictional situations in this list...

I've seen Wind River which I cannot recommend highly enough. It's based on a terrible fact here in America, that women who belong to Indigenous American Tribes are 10 times more likely to go missing, or murdered than White women, despite the small number of Indigenous women living in America after genocide, illness, and a a federal government who has made treaties and broken them repeatedly has diminished their numbers, making them the smallest minority in their own country. Not only is Wind River an outstanding movie in every respect, but you will come away from it shaken, and changed. It is a hard movie to watch about real violence happening to real people, but if I could personally ask people to watch a movie from the excellent list provided, I would beg them to watch Wind River. The others movies listed are ones I've ad on my watch list and have not made time to see. I am a huge fan of Guy Pearce, who does not get the recognition he deserves as an actor, so Brimstone will likely be my next pick.

If you have seen Invisible Guest, the Body is very predictable(same director).Would recommend watching Invisible guest over Body. “Invisible guest” was my intro to Spanish movies. “Orphanage” is also very good .Parasite, the rain flooding scene is the best scene so well made and such a wonderful way to show the difference in the rich and poor lives.

Its awesome to see some lesser known movies getting a mention. I saw "the Body" years ago and loved it. Best film on the list in my opinion but I did see it before the invisible guest (which I also loved). i personally hated Parasite as it didn't seem to know what kind of movie it wanted to be i.e. con job, ghost story, twist, slasher film. Shame as the directors earlier movie "Mother" was awesome. Now that had a twist

The best thrillers of the last 20 year have come from Korea. Parasite has all the hallmarks of Korean cinema, a twisting plot juxtaposing comedy, drama, and horror elements.
