I remember in 80s BMW was all performance., no gimmicks. Black interior, great handling and ride, perfect brakes. Now it’s all gimmicks.

Very nice, but too bad you don't own it. I greatly prefer the Audi RSQ8... the 2025 performance edition looks sweet. The beauty of the Audi is it can be configured on the fly to be anything from a smooth operator to a track car. It owns the lap time record for an SUV at every track it has tested. So there is that if you are into flexing :)

We can’t have awesome wagons from bmw/mercedes and we chop of the backs of SUVs. America has terrible taste in cars. We dont even get the cool versions of our own cars till after Europe (ranger) and China (their ford explorer has a giant screen).

This is why I say sport SUV’s a re stupid. They can’t do sports car things because they’re SUV’s, but they can’t do SUV’s things because they’re trying to be a sports car.
