Final Cut King is NextUp

My name is Zach King and I am a filmmaker from Portland, Oregon. I am a film student living in Los Angeles California. I have been addicted to filmmaking ever since I discovered the home video camera when I was 7 years old.

I was home-schooled for most of my education, which gave me tons of time to develop my filmmaking (since we all know homeschoolers study hard). I started my Youtube channel in December 2008 just for fun. As of last year, it became my full time job and I love every minute of it. I love to post exciting and creative videos on my channel and tutorials which show how the videos were created.

Ultimately, I want to be a feature film director and I'm excited to learn and advanced my talent through the Youtube Nextup program.

The use of dust is a huge benefit in this film. Also the sound effects are amazing with the jets flying overhead. The timing of the explosion at the beginning wasn't quite right. The bullet-time shot with the irregular camera movement was perfect and the ending was very good.

Zach, the world needs another Steven Spielberg, someone who can make movies about anything but with creativity and heart; I think you've got those things, man. I'll be expecting another Jurassic Park, another Jaws, another E. T., etc. I'm not saying you should imitate or copy what Steven Spielberg has done, no, I'm just saying that you should follow your own path of creativity, and produce great stories.
