i just cut my iphone 3gs sim card using scissors and put it in my HTC one x and it works!!

I had the iphone jailbroken when i inserted the gevey for the 1st time = no accept message
I restore with 4.3.2 official fw = no accept message
jailbroken and installed ultrasn0w =still nothing
inserted the gevey and turn on airplane mode = nothing

im thinking the gevey doesn't work for everyone, because there are more people asking for the same. :s

Thanks so much for this, it tells me exactly what I was looking for. My Sim card is just how you say, the gold bit is not dead centre but as long as the three contacts are OK I should be good to go...here's hoping :). I am pleased to say it worked! Needed a bit of sanding but worked first time.

I haven't done this, but what he said about the sim cards being different, maybe you cut it in the wrong place? Or cut off some of the electronics inside?

it depends on whether is was a factory unlock or an unlock with Ultrasn0w (jailbreak). If it was a factory unlock, you're good. if it was an unlock that required a jailbreak, then you just need to jailbreak again, and re-install ultrasn0w.

man i bought my iphone frm internet and freaked out when the at&t dealer told me that i would need a micro sim which would cost me about $15.. THIS VID SAVED ME THAT $15!!!
