THIS THEME IS WEIRD

I OWN NOTHING! Music is by John Williams and is from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Complete Soundtrack. I uploaded this because I really could use a few second opinions on this theme/motif. This isn't every variation of it either, but I went ahead and uploaded the parts where it is most noticeable. It plays when Harry is telling Hermione that it was his father who saved him from the dementors. It also plays when Lupin teaches Harry the Patronus Charm. I've heard it also play when Lupin resigns from Hogwarts in the end of the film, but it also plays when Harry is at Hogsmeade and thinks Sirius betrayed his family. Then there's this kind of transition scene where we hear the theme play as the whomping willow throws some snow off of itself before the transition finally ends with Harry and Lupin talking about the Patronus Charm. I want to name this Professor Lupin's Theme, but it plays in many weird places where he isn't around? What do you guys think?

This score was also used in Attack of the Clones when Obi-Wan tries to look for a missing planet from the archives from the help of Yoda and the Younglings.

i personally think that, off your description, the theme is always either directly or loosely related to harry's parents in some way, specifically James Potter. so i want to say that this would be James Potter's theme, or maybe the memory of harry's family. his lost loved ones and the sacrifices they made for him. it's a stretch, but i'd think of something relating to James Potter or Harry's parents, despite it mostly involving lupin. i mainly think this since it always has a connection to the patronus or, in the end, harry's parents.

I think this motif is related to Lupin mostly, but you could argue that it represents the Marauders as well. All of the scenes you mention involve Lupin, Sirius, or James.

I think it is more related to Harry and his missing and research for a father figure, which could be Lupin or Sirius.
(I hope this is clear, my English is not very good)

I think its sort of a "harry's parental connection" theme.

La parte del coro yo pensaba que era el tema del patronus.
