Someone actually dug into the case of Rebecca’s teacher. His name is Eric Paul Engel. You don’t have to do much digging once you search the actual name.

Being an animator myself, I’m so happy that the animation community is getting recognized by a person with a large following. Animations take SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT! And I’m so so glad that you take your time and effort to help them gain a following and make some people happy!

I enjoy these “reacting to___” videos so much. Honestly, when people react to stuff, it makes it even better.

The craziest teacher I ever had wouldn’t let you out to recess if you didn’t finish your bell work and sometimes I would be stuck in there the whole time

My high school didn't normally allow for test corrections, but I remember there was one test in algebra (or maybe algebra 2, I forget) where the teacher said "I don't normally do this, but I'm going to give you all your tests back and give you a chance to do corrections, because so many people did so bad on this test that it could genuinely prevent a large number of you from passing this class." But then she didn't give me my test back, and I said "Um, excuse me, but I didn't get my test back." And the teacher told me "Oh no, you're good. You actually had a perfect score, so you don't need to do corrections." Yes. I was the designated "smart kid" in school, and more impressively (if the internet's popular opinion on class subjects is anything to go by), math wasn't just a subject I was good at; it was my *best* subject.

I had a teacher (substitute teacher) recently that got through TWO SLIDES of the powerpoint- he kept talking about a time when he staged a fight with another teacher just to prove that secondary sources can be better. He did this for a grand total of half an hour, and so consequently got FIRED RIGHT AFTER OUR LESSON

Back when Youtube was pushing animation channels a lot and I watched Rebecca's that got recommended she explained in one that she didn't draw mouths because of a class she had with a good animation teacher. It was something that inspired her to show you didn't need to animate talking to communicate what the subject was feeling or saying, something along those lines, and she mentioned alongside that doing it like the dog in Wallace and Gromit. She does a great job putting a lot of expression in the eyes of her videos.

"Scars are cool, but don't try and get one." Agreed, they are painful and not all scars look cool, I pull an example from when I was rushed to the hospital because my middle finger was split open at the knuckle and because I'm afraid of needles, and blood, looking at the wound made me wanna gag it was bad, I had to get my finger glued shut, because of my fear of needles I didn't want stitches, and it did not heal properly because I bent it a bit by accident in my sleep, and now I have this scar on my knuckle. (For extra context my puppy who was a little gremlin at the time grabbed a sock and I tried to get it from her while running down the stairs and I split my middle finger open on a sharp piece of metal on the railing that was supposed to hold it together, it has been removed after that entire incident. I also blacked out that day too, like my vision went black and I fell down a stair and I didn't even feel a thing. To give you a picture, I was standing at the top of the stairs and behind me was a single stair making a kind of platform so one can turn and get to the hall upstairs, I fell back onto that platform.) Lesson here, Scars are painful to get, not worth it at the time it happens, but it gives a good story to tell later on. Stay safe everyone and thanks for reading this.

I'm so glad that there is so much animation reacting! Animation videos are one of the hardest and time consuming things to do. Not only that, you also have to be a very good story teller.
