ive had korean corndogs before, and i was apprehensive about the sugar but its actually a really good addition, i mean the bread is basically cornbread so the concept of more sweetness isnt so bizarre, , the hodog is pretty savory and the sugar is very light, i definitely recommend it if you like sweet and savory foods

It feels a pity that many people say sugar ruined the corndog. Spraying sugar on corndog is a universal culture in Korea. You may hate sugar, but please don't say it ruined the food. Koreans love to sprinkle sugar on corndog❤

The sugar honestly makes it taste a bit more American. They usually use honey breading on American hotdogs so using sugar here doesn’t really make a difference. I’ve had something similar
