My top tip is to have a box of essentials, bed linens, toilet roll, towel, plate, knife, fork and change of clothes. Moving day is rough and at the end all you will want is a shower and a takeaway for dinner and to sleep on the mattress on the floor! 😊 When my partner and I sold our first house the one we were moving into fell through (our solicitor found weird rules in the deeds last minute, thank goodness), which meant we had no where to go, we moved between relatives and rented accommodation for over a year until we found the house we live in now. I have never been so strong as I was in that weird year, moving is one hell of a workout!!

I have a moving tip for you. When it's time to clear the last of your clothes in the closet use trash bags. While the clothes are hanging open a bag and insert the clothes and use the bag ties to wrap around the hangers. This helps the clothes to not get dusty and if anything slips off the hanger it will still be in the bag when you place them into its new location.

My best moving tip is to start packing the things you won't use before moving (like Meghan), and put a number on the box, eg. "Kitchen 1". Then you write up the content (roughly) on a notepad as you go. That way you can easily find that special thing you need in 3 weeks, AND the best part: just unpack your boxes in the reversed order (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) because what you packed last is probably the stuff you need right away.

My moving tips:

Use suitcases or things with wheels for VERY heavy things like books. Much easier to carry.

Use clothes to protect breakables.

Use a garbage bag around already hung clothes the closet. Keeps them neat, protected, and easy to travel.

Label everything.

We'll be moving in the next two months in our first bought apartment and we couldn't be more excited! It's a new built, a really good neighborhood, close to the city centre and the farmer's market, and we also picked our floors, tiles etc. so everything is custom made on our preferences. I am literally counting the days, so I understand you. I also do vlogs but I only show them to my family, lol. So keep doing the vlogs these days, it's much easier for you, and entertaining for us! 💕
