Interesting, glad you were able to eventually fix it up and get it working! I can ask Vintage Nerf, but I find it really strange that the front nub broke off lol. Certainly didn't seem susceptible to it when I had VN's switchfire

Unified is great. So willing to help out the community. I got a Switchfire too. Just the base blaster. Had to buy it back since I sold it to the owner of foam fighters

Great find! Every time I think I know every vintage blaster, a new one I've never even heard of pops up! Also loved the history lesson about this particular blaster. I always find it interesting when a blaster is rare because of a recall

Uzified is the best. The switchfire is definitely the rarest kenner/tonka era nerf brand blaster. But in my opinion, is not as rare as the slingfire dx 400.
