A friend’s stepdad died horribly near the ocean. While fishing on the rocks, he had an aneurysm and fell in the water. The currents swept him several miles away and they found his body a couple days later. The friend’s mom was understandably devastated by the sudden loss. I didn’t know him well, but I remember him being very kind, cheerful and loving his wife very much.
