It always comes down to the "frame" where you were born into: Rich people/royalty whatever frowned upon working - they let work. The other group was "educated" that only when you work you are worthy and you have to earn everything through hard work while others drown in luxury and your life consists of working and always have to worry about money. The royalty - slave analogy from ancient times has just a "modern coat". The ones having enough getting richer and the other ones serve a self running system through their instilled fear and lack mentality.
