Did you know that the name "Acheron" is from Greek Mythology, one of the very Rivers of Death? Acheron is the river of woe, pain and lost souls and in her trailer, she says things like, "I weep for the departed..." or, "I wish to mourn the departed, " considering her connection with death.


Edit: Acheron, btw, is the entrance to the Greek Underworld.

I feel like black swan haas seen worse things happen, I feel like the reason she was so scared was because she was a memokeeper, and memokeepers are not physical beings, they give their bodies to fuli in exchange for traveling across the cosmos, and preserving memories.

And nihility is like the exact opposite, so feeling as if everything is meaningless. So there would be no reason to have memories and EVERYTHING else,

But because black swan is an memojeeper, and acheron is a emanator of nihility,

When black swan went into Acheron’s, memories, it was as if she was gazing into the nihility,
Which is almost like erasing her own existence because memo keepers are not physical beings, but they consist of the memories that they collect.

And if a memo keeper came into contact with the nihility through an emanator, then it’s almost like their in direct contact with XI(the nihility) itself, which is not good especially for memokeepers, because they could be erased from existence.


In the video with black swan dancing with acheron, when it showed the parts with the predators chasing and mainly catching the prey, it showed us how black swan was trying to escape the erasure of her own existence from the nihility

When her horns fade away in the myriad celeste trailer i think it represents she couldn't save her Kiana and lost her, in Honkai impact Raiden Mei got her horns because saving Kiana was a sin but she chose to do it because she loves her, thats just a theory honestly, but even if its true i hope we get playable Kiana

Kinda reminds me of Ei’s past, mostly during the cataclysm.

I also remember reading something about her losing the meaning of why she wields her blade. Since I guess the reason why she fights was mostly so she could protect those she holds dear, and yet, they all died during that war. So like, what’s the point of becoming powerful when you can’t even protect your loved ones.
