Rover Tomcat 220 Coupe goes for a drive

1993 Rover 220 Coupe, or Tomcat, the R8 platform sports car meets grand tourer, '90s rival to cars like the VW Corrado, Alfa GTV and Vauxhall Calibra.
These cars are incredibly rare now, at the time of filming in 2017 there were jus 75 non turbo ad nearly 100 turbo cars listed as on the road in the UK

I really have no idea how I discovered your channel but for 4 days am on it trying the Playlist one at a time. This video is pretty old but for future, never soak the brush in the full anti rust solution. The entire solution will go bad and basically will do nothing. Also, watching the newer repairs you have done, you have progressed a lot.

I had one of these in the late 90’s. In the same colour, metallic Tahiti blue on a 95 N plate. Most unreliable car I’ve ever owned, but my goodness what a great little car, when it worked of course. I miss it so much

Nice car but I’ve had enough of lack of spare available, I’ve switched to BMW E36 coupe
