A credit repair specialist submitted a complaint on all 3 bureaus to the CFPB on my behalf and Experian & Equifax responded with “The verbiage contained in your complaint is similar to what is used by a credit repair company, therefore we will not investigate your complaint”. 🙄 However, TransUnion deleted the collection immediately. I responded with “It shouldn’t matter who submitted the complaint (it could have been a 3 yrs old), the fact still remains that you’re reporting inaccurate and unverified information which is unfair”.

So…what should I do in this instance? Is this the final recourse? 😩 I’m tired lol

If I receive a statement billing from collection agency and it has my Diagnosis codes. Actually 2 of them, wouldn't that violate hippa?

Hi Stephanie,

You're awesome, I watch your videos and feel empowered. Cfpb, don't help at all they only forward your complaint to the crooked collector.

One of my accounts report date: 02/2018 and I've disputing this account EVERY month. They NEVER note to this account that I'm disputing. Who I dispute this with the creditors or bureaus?

I have a HUGH problem with Experian, and noticed all my accounts from ( 6 ) different companies. They're reporting the EXACT same closed dates, charge off dates, same DOLP, for all ( 6 ) charge off accounts, I'm disputing.
Thank you,
~Ace

Can you provide me with the agency and law or rule that stipulates that the timeline begins by the last date of financial activity? I've got old creditors updating to the date I contacted the bureaus.

I have a question..When you send in your disputes and they Mark it as being investigated but they don’t complete the investigation in the 30 days do they have to delete the items? I did a dispute for equifax in December and the never investigated and I sent one in February and their 30 days were up on the 14th of this month. According to them they should be done investigating tomorrow but that’s past the 30 days.
