I played an average of 50 battles per day for every day of the event with about a 55% win rate. I also completed about 95% of my missions each day and I competed the board game finding all of the crates with clementines. I’ve also bought 6 of the crates using free XP and another 15 crates for 2, 500 gold per crate using a total of 37, 500 gold at a cost of $100 and a total of 300k free XP.

After all of this, I have still only completed 12 levels in the event and I still need another 230 snowflakes to get the 3 snow globes that you get when completing level 13 and I need 930 more snowflakes to get the VK 90.01P. The crate that can be opened using clementines is now up to 300 clementines per crate and each time I open a crate, the number of clementines requires is still increasing.

With only 34 hours remaining in the event, I won’t have enough time to open any more crates using clementines because I currently only have 72 clementines which means I need 228 more to open another crate. So if I want to get the 3 snow globes with opening level 13, I would probably need to buy 15 more crates for 2, 500 gold per crate for a total of 37, 500 gold which would cost be $100 and that’s assuming that some of the crates contain more than the minimum of 10 snowflakes. If I bought 15 crates for 2, 500 gold per crate and got an average of 15 snowflakes per crate, I would have enough to complete level 13 and receive the 3 snow globes.

But in order to complete level 14 to win the VK 90.01 P I would need to buy 62 crates for 2, 500 gold each for a total of 155, 000 gold which would cost me about $420. And that’s only if I average 15 snowflakes per crate in the 62 crates. If I only get an average of 12 snowflakes per crate, I would need to buy 78 more crates for 2, 500 gold per crate for a total of 193, 750 gold which would cost me $520 on top of $100 I’ve already spent plus the 300k free XP I used, plus the 50 battles per day that I’ve played every day of the event, plus all the missions I completed, plus completing the board game.

This is absolutely insane that in addition to doing everything possible to earn snowflakes for free for the past 20 days, I would still need to spend $620 in order to get the VK 90.01P. Obviously I will not be buying $420 to $520 worth of gold crates to get the VK. I don’t even think it’s worth it to spend another $100 to get the 3 snow globes in level 13 because i already own every tank that I could win except for the VK which only has a 1% drop rate and I’m not sure that I would get back the $100 in gold when I get gold instead of the tanks that I would get but already own.

One of our best players in our clan got this on his first and only snow globe. In a game I platooned with him in, he did a 4.5k/1500exp game and helped us win. If you get this tank & groove on it, it's a beast. I'm thinking i might get it...in 2+ yrs! 😋

I played 2 hours every day just doing first wins for extra clemantines and I am still 2000 snowflakes away from the VK.

I am an over 60% WR player so not too bad but that increase in clemantines makes it impossible.

I did get a couple of snow globes that gave me free xp and the free tier 5 but generally a very disappointing event.

Regular WOT is much better value at Christmas, I brought a bundle of crates for £30 and got 2 tier 8 premiums, progetto and a crazy double barrel thing, about £40 worth of gold and a months premium account with about 2 million credits.

You always seem to get more value in crates than you spend in regular WOT while in BLITZ you feel like you are just getting robbed.

The Event was difficult to Complete. I only managed to unlock level 7, and got Tankenstein in the Snow Globe. Then I decided to use my remaining gold to buy the M60 in the store auction. The mini tank adventure was cool.

That's where I got in event. But did get globe and it dropped IS3 defender

They were asking for a few snowflakes, then it became a few dozen, THEN the amount was over 1000 snowflakes past level 5, I managed to get to only level 6.. I just dont have the win rate, the gold for boxes, and most importantly, the money. This event was practically impossible. I wanted that VK, but it's ok, I did very well in the Halloween event.

To be fair this event has shaped up to be the usual WG fare. That is to say that the main "prize" was well out of reach of everyone except the most dedicated (read: wealthiest) wallet warriors. Minor prizes that some of us had to pay to achieve even those. All in all another money grab from the company dolled up as an "event' in the hopes of fooling players into parting with their cash.
Personally I managed to get a single snowglobe by spending a bunch of free xp and gold. On the bright side that one globe did drop the Chinese Tier 8 WZ-120-1G FT OP tank destroyer. So at least it wasn't a complete loss for me.
But yeah... When all is said and done, expect this kind of "event' to become the norm.

Ive played about 30 games a day, Only got to the 220 clems container and finally got lucky with 50 snow flakes (only 5 sf in all the others except once 10), ive been lucky enough to get to stage 7 and got the T28def in the snow globe (i already own it so i got 7.5k gold as compensation), aside of that ive tried once a 50k free xp container, 100 gold 1 camo and 15 snow flakes, soo crapy.... still have 170k free xp but i wont even try, i rather save that for the american lights.... ive surprisingly increased my win rate during the event despite the awful teams weve all had, but it was big carry time to get the victories... a lot of players can be grateful for the clems they earned thanks to me, im only a 56% wr player but after looking at teamates profiles i was way above the average during the 3 last weeks....

My win rate took a .07% hit on 45k battles over this event. Too many players with no integrity pressing battle and jumping to another tank pressing battle and on and on. One game we were 4v7. 3afk on my team

Just opened my last clementine chest at 250 clementines. Huge jump to 300 clementines for the next one

I kicked pramooh azz when they were driving it against me. But they would sometimes destroy my team.
