Yay, rejoice Mac Users!! What used to take 5 seconds now takes a whole 45 seconds to do in iPhoto '11!! But that's not all! Now how much would you pay?!? First, you have to go online and figure out how the frack to do it in the first place!!
Thank goodness for people like you to show us simple Mac-fearin' folk how to "right click". Never had to do that EVER before on a Mac. Lawdy lawd, Apple, why hath thou forsaken us?

On my computer the "Originals" folder is called "Masters" and I got to the year, and then the biggest number (it didn't show a whole date), mine was nested as 2013 - 04 (April I guess) - [a buncha numbers] and inside that was what I had imported that day.

So, if one is using, say, Final Cut Express, how do you open this folder in order to import something from it? I think you must first make a copy and move it outside of the iPhoto dungeon to access it.

Thanks +++ saved my bacon! not bad - a bit fast - and mine were stored in a folder called "masters" as i haven't modified them so no folder called originals exists or i have a newer OS.

now can you find where apple updates have stored the 1gb download so i don't have to download it all over again?
