This dad’s plan to send his kids on a real treasure hunt was coming along nicely, and they were not suspecting anything at all! After loading the chest and making a realistic treasure map and letter from the pirate, he rolled them up and put in this old copper tube from the 1940s.

First, he hid the chest. Heading far west into the woods, he picked a spot under a big rock. Next was the map. He needed his kids to accidentally stumble upon it, so he hid it in the local construction area where they went on walks regularly. And that is exactly how they found it!

After playing along by their dad, they were fully convinced it was real! So the next day, they went into the woods to find the big treasure! The search was harder than they had anticipated, but after a little help from their dad, they finally got lucky. They had an absolute blast, but the oldest son got skeptical once he found this coin in the mix.
