Man Izzy with 3rd 4th string guys looked explosive

Olu would be the day 1 rookie starting left tackle for 95% of the teams in the NFL.
Only a gold jacket in Ty Smith is keeping Olu from that current position in NY.
Olu is a bonafide gem 💎

Shout out to brant boyer. Hes gonna cook with his schemes this year. I see alot or negativity towards the new rule but i think we will benefit from it!

Barnes and Sherwood are developing nicely. Love to see us building up talent

Barnes is so talented. He has a Quincy ceiling. Imagine the speed if both of them were on the field?

I’m so glad we have fashanu. He’s going to be such a stud. I think stiggers will be solid too.

I hope Saleh takes Barnes over Surrat who gets hurt every quarter.

"gadget" players are usually undervalued by both the fans and the teams that use them. I don't want Davis to get the dreaded "gadget" label. He is talented enough to be considered a regular part of the RB rotation.

I wish Jordan was healthy would have loved to see him out there getting some reps.

I'd like to see starting offense for a series or two against the Giants - just to give them a sip of game time action before the season starts

Left guard #60 has caught my eye last two games. Hope he can make the 53???

Good job Jets, keep jerking Olu around until you get him injured. He looked awkward to me on the right side despite doing an adequate job. When CJ is finally gone the LB room looks to be in good hands.

If you're waiting for Moses to get hurt you got a long wait. He's an Iron Man

If Cordington returns next week like he did this past week, i dont see how you dont keep him. He looked explosive and i know Gibson looked good last year but its hard to deny what Cordington did yesterday. Itd be tough to find a spot since he is a DB, we know we're going to keep Sauce, Reed, MCII, JBC, Stiggers, Ashtyn, Clark, Key, and Adams. Thats 9 spots right there. But if he can return like that consistently week in and week out, i dont know how you dont keep him.

Its gonna be tough to figure out the 53 this year like always. Theres like 57 guys you can claim should or will make the roster. Who those hard cuts will be intresting.

I missed the game yesterday and caught highlights this morning. But one play stood out to me. It was obscure but there was a short pass to Anthony Firsker. It was almost sure to be a loss of a couple yards. He easily shook off the defender and turned it into a nice gain as he bulldozed down the field. Looks like the guy is hard to take down. Had a decent 3 year span with different teams put man does he run down field and look in super shape. I hope they give this guy a spot. Almost reminded me of Alstott

thought Carter Warren looked pretty solid at LT as well

Davis has a very similar running style to breeze just not quite as explosive. They also basically weigh the exact same

It's good for olu to get the game experience, there's no world were if Moses goes down they are gunna put Warren at RT over him

Hoping the Jets are just giving him reps incase Moses gets injured but im expecting him to sit behind Smith and come in when Smith inevitably gets injured, overall i thought Olu was great again at pass blocking, but his runblocking was far worse on the right side.
