There's a possibility that Revenant may get a complete overhaul in Apex Legends sometime soon. There are leaks in the community showing a Revenant placeholder with a new name called "Revenant Reborn." With the new name are new abilities being tested which look to be similar to Fade from Apex Mobile.

Could Fade be coming to Apex Legends' main game, or is this a future Revenant Rework?

A complete overhaul is not the way to go for Rev. His Ult needs some love and changes but his passive climbing and tactical are amazing

Been maining revenant since he came out just cause I like him so much. Dude definitely could use a buff but having his entire kit completely changed just feels weird. I’m so used to the fast crawl and high climb that I feel disabled when I play other legends sometimes

And if you/teammates get hit with your ultimate, you can get a speed boost in phase which is faster than wraith/octane with their skill

Revanant just needs to get his hitbox shrunken and his ult changed. His passive and Q are pretty good but his hitbox is one of the easiest to hit after gibby imo. He either needs to be shrunken like 20% or get the 15% damage reduction.

They’re not going to do this, people have spent money and their dedicated time into revenant also he has an heirloom and they won’t remove that from the game but most importantly revenant is a huge part of the apex lore and story

They won't revamp him because they can't. Whenever they get people to pay for skins, they can't change the character, because then you wouldn't be able to use what you paid for. Hence why they always try to find another way to add all the guns even though there are way too many as is.

This isnt a rework this is just a whole new character, they are legitmatley removing an entire character and just replacing him. This is the furthest thing from a rework.

Hear me out.
Nerf fortified ever so slightly. Maybe from like 15% to 12%, at the most. When people enter his totem for death protection, let em have a temporary fortified perk to reduce incoming damage basically making them ever so slightly tougher to kill and send back to the totem. And IF they decided to stack fortified perk to the fortified legends, it stacks to 24% reduced dmg rather than 30%.

I think Rev's tactical and passive are perfect, he just needs to have a different ultimate. The totem is difficult to place safely and pretty easy to counter if you're playing against him. It's just underpowered. I think he should turn into the shadow from the Halloween LTM for his ultimate. Double jump, wall run, increased speed, high melee damage, no defenses and little health so he's not too strong. Like the shadows from the event. When he dies, he reappears wherever he activated his ultimate. It might give Revenant less team utility, but I think it would make him a lot more fun to play, and it would fit the lore of him being an absolutely terrifying beast to face in a fight, without making him overpowered, or leaving him really weak like he is now.

If anything probably a change to his silence but unless they throw some crazy lore I don't think revanant will get a rework like this especially involving the void
