One detail I noticed, he only got hostile when he saw other avatars. Notice he was fine with the humans, and during the fight he only targeted other avatars and left the humans.

Personal gripe here:

The camera should've stayed in Quaritch's POV, all the way up to when he saw his reflection.

That way, audiences would've been in the dark RIGHT UP to when they see his reflected face. Would've sold the scene better.

I wish that Cameron would’ve done more with the Recom team. Semi- quoting Quaritch from the first movie; an alien body with the skill and knowledge of a human soldier, that’s a force to be reckoned with and an interesting combination. They seemed intimidating having the strength, heightened senses and adapted height and bone density of the Na’vi, the military intelligence of the people they’re the clones of, and superior weaponry, but in the movie they ended up serving as examples of how OP Jake and Neytiri are with how easily they were killed off. With knives, tomahawks and arrows nonetheless. Half the team gone in the first 40 minutes, the other half in the third act, and none of them really got to put up a fight except for Quaritch. And here I was thinking that they’d pose a real, palpable threat to the Sullys. I get that Jake and Neytiri are skilled warriors, but so were the Recoms, and the Recoms had far superior weapons… Such a shame.

I love his reaction, his last memory was in war with the natives then he woke up and see these blue guys assume that he is in enemy base and after he realise that he is safe and everyone there are his team members, he's calm down and also even his team members got punch, there is no sign of anger but happy that "Our Boss is back and This is why he is the Boss"
