Have the game, painted up and played a couple of games. It is truly a blast to play. Comparing it to Shadespire doesn´t do the game justice - although both games are good in their own ways. Aristeia has different scenarios and deeper customization in terms of team comp and the individual card loadouts. The tight and clear ruleset makes for easy teaching, which is also a huge plus. If you get the chance to pick the game up or try it: just do it. Highest recommendation here.

Bought the Core Box for Christmas for my 13 year-old son. He loves it. We play all the time. Bought the 'Soldiers of Fortune' expansion; awesome addition to the core 8 characters bringing the total to draft-play up to 12. Eagerly waiting for the 'Smoke & Mirror's character expansion - 4 more aristos! And now there's the full announcement for 'Human Fate' character expansion for GenCON. Jeez.

Plus, my son introduced the game to my 15 year old daughter just as summer vacation started. Carlos is right. I think girls/women could actually get into this thing. My daughter is NOT a miniatures gamer but she's now asked to play this game maybe a dozen times in the past 2 weeks and she's talking about all the various team builds and deck load-outs as each expansion reveals the next/newest characters. Finally, CB is bloody brilliant with the expansion releases as they're clearly angling for a larger female market and 'Human Fate' is ALL female and each character is so incredibly different. Can't wait to see what CB and Carlos have in store for this game.

Carlos from Corvus Belli and Leonidas from Mythic Games are my 2 favorite people in the board/miniatures games industry. They both offer a great experience while teaching the games. Of course it helps that both companies create good games. I first saw Aristeia on the Beasts of War channel during the KS for the game and I fell in love with the simple rules and interesting game. So it's not surprising that right now my 2 favorite combat systems for miniatures games are those in Aristeia and Mythic Battles: Pantheon.

This looks so good! This is the only real game Ive come across that reminds me of a PC game called warbands:Bushido (hex based with minis and a deck + dice rolls) I was addicted to that so very interested in getting this. *EDIT* oh wow just looked through TC's channel and Bushido is an actual game, I feel dumb but excited. Also Will Aristeia! be coming to Australia anytime soon?

Where might one purchase the impassable terrain pillars for the board? The retail box doesn't come with those.

Bostria misspoke at 19:52. Mushashi's switch to change a shield to a success only works against an adjacent target. It would not work at range against Lunah. Also he should have pointed out that switches are always done first. It is so easy to slide over that fact but it is often important in game play. The BoB demos explain the game in more depth.

Carlos is one of the best guys in the business! Such passion, represents really well our Iberian latin blood! :)

The game... looks really good. But... too much noise and a really big footprint.
Shadespire has a lesser footprint and looks less noisy... but Shadespire also lacks diversity and this game has it.

But is the same as Infy, I see this being a niche game, even more than Infy is... which translates into a narrow playerpool and without players a game simply does not thrive, no matter how good the game can be.
But it looks fun. At least more fun than Shadespire looked when it came out.

I'll not buy it. Sorry, Carlos, but my heart is being melted by giant Monsters and Robots destroying a city! :)
