This is so spot on. I am raising my 16-mo old grandson until his parents complete a cross-country move. He wakes up faithfully at 6 a.m. He isn't totally clear in his speech yet, but he certainly knows enough to communicate effectively. He crawls out of his bed and climbs onto "ammaws" bed. If I'm not awake or wishfully pretending I'm still asleep, he stands over me and does what I call, his "WWE drop pound" move. He suddenly drops his entire weight in the middle of my chest. Then he leans up over me and says, "Ammaw, Ammaw" with a questioning voice. If I don't get up with him right then, he will wrestle me, tickle me, kiss me, and whatever he thinks will motivate me out of bed. I love him with all my heart, but is it too much to ask that we sleep until 7?

My 8 nearly 9 year old calls me EVERY time to help her wipe. When she's left to it she always gets a sore bits cause of not wiping. Properly am like aaaah! But I'd rather that than she gets sore 🙃 never had a boy though so I don't know the struggle lol
