I got to follow my fiancé Elin when she attempted to run her first Ultra Marathon and made this documentary about it. Do you like my videos and want to support me so I can create more?

I'm running my first Ultra 50km this weekend. Last year I had a double heart bypass. It's taken a year of rehab and training. I am loving it. My training runs have been up to 45km with many thousands of metres of elevation. Good luck everyone. Never give up.

I love the old "Never again... never again... Finish race... When's the next one?". Long runs are soooo addictive. Well done completing your 50km. Great video showing the highs, and lows :-)

Two weeks ago I ran 80 km. ultra trail marathon "Kernave Trail". Remembering this video helped me keep going. :) Greetings from Lithuania!

That was awesome. I love watching people experience their first Ultra Distance run, it takes me back to mine every time. The highs and lows, the exhaustion BUT then not long run will I sign up for next. Fantastic!

What I like about this (and other videos about ultra runners), is the support they have from their partners! Well done Elin. I liked how human you were about it too :)

Good work, I completed my first 50k this Sept 2019. It’s such a rush to find out what you can really do. Biggest lessons I learned during my races this year was to stay in my HR zones for the first half and save my legs for the 2nd half.. And make sure the hydration and foods are built up the whole week before the race. Congrats!!

She's great and very relatable! I didn't have the guts to sign up for a ultra marathon yet, but I'm currently training for my second marathon. It's on my bucket list for next year, really looking forward to it. 🤞🏻

I was violently attacked 18 years ago, a large man jumped on my knee bending it backwards as i lay on the ground - i can never run again ever. I want to so bad i start crying at home, but im lucky - some cant walk so im grateful.

Im out for a 3 hour walk! Amazing channel.

I had the same story. I ran a 21k on street, thought about a marathon, but hit the trails more often to enjoy the time and outdoors. I didn't care about time, just views and having fun. Skipping down technical trails. It was the first time i had fun running 21k and didn't realize i ran that much. I ran my first 50k without a race. Just trails having fun, topping up water in little streams. I had so much fun that day, just running.
Thinking about finaly joining some race with support stations. I think it will be a nice experience to run with people.

This is pretty cool. I remembered when I first started my ultra and had the same experience. After a few races you will learn and gradually go longer and longer. Good luck!

Yes, wonderful film! And congratulations to Elin. She finished strong and powered through the low points well—and her camera work and comments were also well done. It's fun to see and hear about others' journeys through their first ultramarathon. One is never enough!
