Summer Nights - John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John 1978

Grease, a simple movie made 45 years ago, but still full of energy and hope! It is hard to write about triumphs of love on the wide screen and not mention grease. Rebel without a cause turned into a musical and a happy ending is added-on to the story. Our knight in shining armor is actually a 23 years old John Travolta as Danny Zuko, a high school bully with a shiny car. And our princess is Olivia Newton-John as Sandy Olsson. What is our dragon? Well, the school, the thugs, Danny’s inner troubles etc.
And if you are one of those snubs who constantly and aggressively ask: “why such movies work?” we can only quote our dearest bard:
