I initially started hating when I saw the thumbnail. “We all learned to fly in GTA, pshh”. But there’s something immersive and beautiful about being a pilot in a war game and getting people to their destinations fast and effectively.

Games like Arma, BF and DCS are what made me get off my ass and get a Rotary PPL. Best decision I ever made. I highly recommend you at least go on an intro flight. I want to eventually get instrument and commercial rated but just enjoying flying as a private pilot for the time being. I fly R22's as those are the only ones I can afford to rent :D
