Figure you out || MV

This MV is for my After Effect class project, we were suppose to made an MV completely using After Effect. Frame-by-frame is not really recommended because we had to utilized AE as much as possible, hence why this MV is kind of has a different vibe compared to what I usually do. But funny enough, I already have this project in mind before this class even started, so this is such a good opportunity for me to do it!

This is just a random story I came up with while listening to the song, basically the rabbit like the wolf more since he's the rich man, so Riko was pissed about it and decided to shot the wolf xD
The relationship between Riko and the rabbit is complicated idk how to put it together tho, let just say they used to be ex I guess?
I must say Riko acting a bit too out of character in this, but I like the vibe of the MV overall so I would give a pass xD

I was kind of overwhelmed at the end due to other classes projects and I wasn't in a really good mental state in the last final 3 weeks, but ye, I managed to turned it in on time :D Not really my best work but I'm glad to pull this thing done, haven't mentioned about the length of this projects

Overall, I must say this is really good with all of that factors, bravo me xD

Update 2024: The main character is now named Jack, the rabbit named Julliet and the wolf named Lukas!

Gonna add some small detail in the MV since it's pretty neat when mention about it:
I designed Jack in vest and the wolf in an expensive suit
Jack clothes is more neat and tucked while Lukas is more loose (to represent good boy/ richbad boy scenario kind of thing)
They both like Julliet, Julliet broke up with Jack because rich bad boy is cool am I right? xD
then I just added a twisted that Jack just shot Lukas at the end

basically good boy and can bad too, , ,

Another small detail the concept is:
all of them has a white rose
Jack has on on the chest, Julliet on the hair and Lukas just holding it
the final part Jack rose just turn red because he's a murderer

Also if you want to suggest names for the wolf and the rabbit, I'd love to hear, and if you guys like the story I might expand it in another MV maybe 👀👀

God, you are amazing Riko! You’ve encapsulated the paper scrapbook look perfectly, as well as the lovely transitions, the storytelling, and how love can drive somebody to do something terrible out of jealousy. And the ending scene really added on to the whole atmosphere. I’m quite curious about their full story and dynamic- btw, i feel like the rabbit would be a Maya, and the wolf may be a Brock or Bryan? I’m not sure…

Not sure why, but the rabbit's name could be something similar to "Briar" meaning a Thorny Path. While the wolf's name could be "Judas" meaning praised.

I can see Judas is just a rich brute who has had everything he ever wanted before, and also has dealt with girls who cheated with their partners before. He thought it wouldn't be any different with this couple, till he took the bullet.

Briar, I'm not so sure on- but perhaps she did all of this for a reason? Maybe not for something personal, but maybe for a job? Idk I'm just speculating! I'd love to see more of this story!! Amazing work!

Edit: After rewatching the AMV a few times I noticed that Briar doesn't seem to bare a real affection to Judas (at least in my eyes) so it's really interesting to speculate as to why she is with him... Other than money, of course.
