Both sides have their flaws. Pete was stubborn and didn't want to understand which is why Kao lied to him. But by lying to him Pete felt like he couldn't trust him no more. Also Pete wanted people to know that they were a couple but Kao wasn't ready for it. And I know coming out isn’t easy and it takes time but they've been together for a while now and if Kao didn’t lie to Pete and if the whole mess didn’t occur would Kao have ever come out?
