Great video once again O'Hare desperately needs this upgrade and 2028 is a pretty quick turnaround for such a big project. I think the designs look nice too, though not convinced about the space for events and live music, since airports I've been through have never had that, but who says things can't change.

As a native chicagoan, and someone who has unfortunately seen both the charm and plight of o'hare, this new expansion is definitely needed!

Laguardia, O'Hare, LAX...America's megacities are all starting to get massive airport upgrades, and it's so exciting to see as an American who has watched our airports fall so far behind in recent years. Can't wait to see the new LAX since I live in the LA area!

Wasn’t a great experience travelling to O’Hare missed my flight twice on route back to London, the more surprising thing though was that the experienced staff on the ground were so used to this & dealt with alternate flights so politely & before we’d got to the tick desk. So it’s really great to hear the transformation plans, this is a brilliant video

From someone who lives 5 min from O Hare, this news is awesome, the renovations are definitely needed if O Hare wants to be what it once was.

Thank you for making this. As a Chicagoan I had no idea of this, but had seen construction going on in the airport and was curious. O'Hare desperately needed an overhaul, most of the inside looks like it got stuck in the 80s. I expected some remodeling, but not this much, so seeing this is a huge relief.
I'm extremely proud of the steps this city has taken to improve the way it looks. I love Chicago, hopefully we can get back on track and go back to being one of the best cities in the world.

More Chicago videos please there are several huge mega developments underway, I would like to see in depth videos on any number of them.

I’ve been through O’hare once before a few years ago, and back then, news was circulating of a major renovation of the airport in the near future. As one of the busiest airports in the world, O’hare definitely could use a renovation. I’m glad it’s about to come to fruition.

When I was a kid in the 80s, going to O’Hare was like a dream, that cool underground terminal with all the lights and weird music. Nowadays, it’s like stepping back in the 1980s - hasn’t really changed a bit. Glad this is happening.

I love these airport videos. Something about airports and their design both aesthetically and functionally fascinate me to no end. Take a look at the almost finished Helsinki - Vantaa airport in Finland. I think the interior has been done quite nicely, but the outside "big picture" looks scattered, littered with a bunch of structures from different eras and the main "attraction" basically just plumped down in the middle like a box. Would love to hear your opinion on it and hearing more about the process of designing it, if its ever in the pipeline of future videos

Let's hope this video TAKES OFF 😉

Chicago has been first for many things, would love to see Chicago become a hub for high-speed rails. Imagine the revenue and jobs it can generate.

I went through O'Hare once on a connecting flight to LAX. It was early morning and managed to get through customs and to my gate fairly quickly. No big lines or issues. Of course it helped that it was early May and the weather was not a problem.

Having worked in T2 for two years, I'm incredibly excited to see how this project unfolds. Ultimately if all of the moving works out correctly (and there is a lot of moving around to be done) this project will totally transform Chicago as a destination. I'm really excited to see what the next 6 years have in store for ORD.

I only flew in and out O'Hare a few times, but flying over Lake Michigan is always beautiful! O'Hare is very big and takes forever to get across. Make sure you have at least 45 minutes between layovers or you'll be guaranteed to miss your next flight!

I love O’Hare. The pageantry at that airport is like no other. Every airport has their problems, O’Hare is no different. This renno will bring O’Hare back to the TOP!

This place has alot of great potential. I have been traveling in and out of O’Hare for a good 20 years. For such a big city with such a sad crime problem. The folks that work there have always been in my opinion really nice.
