“For control of the force itself” sounds extremely Sith

"The Force existed long before the Jedi and the Sith divided it into light and dark, and it will be here long after the two are nothing more than fragments of a forgotten history."

Jedi USE the Force for knowledge and defense. To CONTROL the Force itself, is more like the Sith way.

What is with Disney star wars and space horses?they have speeder bikes for a reason. I'd honestly take the speeder bike jousting from the 2003 clone wars over a space horse.

Is this our punishment for liking the Mandalorian?

This is the Jedi at their height of power and arrogance so that line isn’t supposed to be a positive one, it is pure Jedi arrogance

I fail to understand why this is receiving so much hate.

"For control of the Force itself?" So, these people have absolutely no idea how the Jedi Order operates, is that what you're saying? It's almost as if they don't really know Star Wars at all.

Am I the only who actually liked the trailer. I know everyone is saying how they don't know what they're because when she said "for control of the force itself" but I think it's supposed to be a hint about how the jedi were becoming arrogant and confident about they're order and plus this is set over hundreds of years ago before the prequels so it might be showing how the jedi are starting to become former shells of themselves. Remember this is set in the golden age of the jedi and republic and every golden age has to end.
Note: I didn't read the books but I'm just saying the trailer looked good.

Now I know why its called the "High Repupblic".
One must be pretty high to create a co-pilot character who is a rock.

"For control of the Force itself!"
Huh, so this is going to be about how the Jedi became so arrogant and blind to their own power and traditions that it lead to the rise of the Empire?
