If python is mostly muscle and is tough, you might have to slow-cook it for a few hours. At least that's my guess.

Grind it up with fatty bacon fry with garlic onions and peppers. It makes a great stuffing for lettuce wraps

Looks interesting. Given how much of a problem Pythons are in Florida this is a good thing what you’re doing with their meat. However I heard snake meat carries tons of Mercury you know?

Given the muscularity, seems like it would be good to do a long slow cooking method like a stew or a smoke?

Hello from the Future. ended up hear from live show and mentioning the Iguana vid. I remember one time on Food network they were showing a bbq competition and they had a wild meat segment and on guy chose to do rattlesnake. What they did was they coiled the snake with twines like a basket, battered and lowered it into oil frying in then filled the basket with hush puppies
