The first step is to draw a horizontal line below the halfway point of your page, and next, draw a dot for the vanishing point in the center. This will be the vanishing point for this one-point perspective drawing. All parallel lines going towards a vanishing point will look like they meet at the vanishing point, if you extended the lines all the way to the horizon.
