This really broke my heart bc he was a proud dad, my dad and I haven't spoken or seen each other in over ten years. So when I see great dads like John and like yourself Jonni, I want them to live forever, to inspire other dads to do better RIP John Meadows

"Hes coaching up in heaven..." Yeah that hit me... made me laugh and made me shed a tear. RIP John Meadows.

It’s so true though.. I didn’t know him, I never even met him and I felt like I knew him my whole life. He would always like my comments on his channel, and respond to a bunch of other peoples comments. he was so humble, I would often just stop in between listening to him and think “wow, this man seems like such a good human being that really cares about other people.” His aura exuded that. The gentleness and softness of his voice ... his faith in God and Jesus Christ solidified that feeling that I got from him for me. I’ve cried twice already thinking about this man . Thanks for sharing your experience about this terrible loss.

This is the most meaningful and impactful tribute that I have seen so far. RIP

I loved John because he was a man of god, loyal to family, in a world without humility or moral code, his example and presence shined.

Cried this morning, a huge loss for us all, i am going to prove myself and john who is in the sky that we all can be better people, and live a better life, its sad that he is gone, but i will do everything to use all the things he teached us as motivation to keep on pushing and becoming better than before
Rest well John, it was too soon but you had done more than anyone else to me without even knowing me.

John was one of those guys who didn’t need to tell you he was a Christian. The light of the Lord just shone through him. What a story of faith he is.

First year of training I tried messaging a few known coaches seeing if anyone could help explain muscle confusion to me, I honestly didn’t expect anyone to reply but John actually did and was more then happy to give his opinion he’s changed and shaped my training a lot Rip a legend 🙏🏼❤️

5:29 At this point literally tears came to my eyes :(. God bless you John, God bless you Jonni and all of you guys. Stay strong, have faith and hope and let us all meet with John and other great guys one day at the same place.

I'm glad us as fans, friends or loved ones all made it very clear how much we admired him. He had an overwhelmingly positive amount of support even in good health.
Usually the good words come after someone passes, but he was loved and praised regardless.

We lost a bodybuilding icon, a mentor and one hell of a gentlemen. The entire bodybuilding community should have a moment of silence to pay tribute to a man who gave so much back to the sport he so much loved. He was / still is the face of bodybuilding to me. The Meadows row will live on forever. Rest in Paradise JM you will be sorely missed !

He had a calmness about him that was real and he radiated positive energy.

Man. I had to pull over when i saw this right now. Tearing up over this. He was one of the first guys I followed years ago and he just seemed like such an awesome person and the way he showed off his kid in his videos showed he was a great dad. He’s going to be missed so much.

Jonni you are the only one who talked about John's faith of the several YouTube tributes that came out today. I didn't know that he was a Christian. The verse you quoted (1 Corinthians 15:55-56) should indeed give us comfort in the face of death which is a situation that we will all find ourselves in eventually "But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ"

The world lost one of the good guys. I learned so much from John and appreciate everything he did for so many people. He will be missed. RIP John

I'm crying like a baby. He was one of the pillars that guided me in my early steps in bodybuilding. My training book is full of his tips. I'll miss you John, thanks for helping me in a process that literally changed my life ❤️

Praise God for John. He was truly an excepional man. I've always looked up to him as a competitor, a coach, and a role model for men. He's the guy I want to be. He's touched more lives than he will ever know. So grateful for the legacy he's leaving behind.

He will surely be missed. Has nothing but positivity associated with his name. RIP John
