The footage captures some high points; Brian and Mike's vocals for "It's Just A Matter of Time" and Gary Moore's great guitar for "Maybe I Don't Know." I agree with the others who commented that this album is highly underrated (and strangely overlooked.) I've been listening to the album again for an episode I'm planning for my youtube channel and am finding it even stronger than I remembered. For anyone who hasn't given the album "a spin" in a while, you should give it another listen. I think, like me, you'll be happily surprised!
Thanks for this and for all the great posts, Elora! Fantastic!

don't care what anyone says, severely underrated record. really sad we didn't get more beach boys embracing the ultra 80s music trends

What a gem!! I’d assumed Mike and Brian tracked their leads on ‘Matter of Time’ separately, how cool that they did it together

Such great footage. Thank you. This album is pretty overlooked but I love it. Great songs at the core.

I needed this, like I’m a huge fan of them, too bad Carl and Dennis are gone they were so special

No doubt they could still sing great in 85. The major problem with this record was the (over) production. They would have been much better suited adapting a rootsy, unplugged or at least more vintage sound. Also they would've done well collaborating with a better lyricist....but damn they could still sing. Carl sounds like Robert freaking Plant!

Beautiful harmonies as usual at a Beach Boys studio recording....and of course Mike Love trying his best to look important.

That's all the video we have of Ringo? No interaction with the Beach Boys?
