To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, we go behind the scenes at the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium at Liberty Science Center.

Using over 6 Christie Boxer projectors, this New Jersey planetarium is the largest in the Western Hemisphere.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the star show!

Honestly, wasn't impressed with the programs or the sky. The size of the place is impressive and the resolution was good. But at the end of the day the live show about the sky was boring and the night sky was never as impressive as smaller planetariums or the Hayden planetarium in NY. The Beatles laser show was mediocre at best. Just getting into the place was a fiasco with ticket takers not paying attention to what show was starting. LSC needs to focus on staff professionalism more than being the biggest. Seeing this video I am impressed with the technology. Now they need the proper staff to run it. Maybe LSC is simply trying for the one time visitors and don't care if they return or not?
