Good food can start in your own back garden, yard or window sill.
If like me you try to grow something every year then check what you have before you buy more seeds this weekend or over coming weeks.
A friend once told me they sow vegetables they can't get locally and buy what is easy to source. I think that is good advice but also know what works in your soil.
Don't be in denial that you have lovely light airy soil for potatoes and carrots when you actually have claggy dark heavy soil. I made this mistake many times!
Gardening for me is like therapy. The quiet and creativity speaks to me.
