A storm is gathering over Europe once again. Soon the drums of war shall sound and the world will be swept up in smoke and thunder. In the Kingdom of Romania, a corrupt and hedonistic king expands his political powers and seeks to plunder the riches of the Balkan states. But he must be wary: the people are discontented by his lavish lifestyle, radical political movements are gathering support, and the mighty Soviet Union mobilizes on his borders. Can Romania emerge from the storm proud and glorious, as it once was? Or are they doomed to play the puppet of far greater powers?

One thing to know about manpower is to realize that is your unit's health, more or less. If you go to war with 0% national manpower, you won't be able to reinforce your units who have taken casualties. Field hospitals definitely help reduce how much you lose, but having manpower in reserves is always a good idea. Attrition is a very real thing once you get into a prolonged war, and that also will hurt your reinforcement rate. This is what infrastructure is used for, how many units you can have stacked in a province and neighboring provinces, and the rate at which they are reinforced.

I played the shit out of this game last year. Love to play as the USA and go fascist, and do my damnedest to conquer the Americas before the Axis win the war. The best I did was conquering all the way down to Brazil, and failing in Chile due to attrition.
