Paper confetti only... or IP65 fixtures ;)

The other bad thing about that confetti is that when it gets wet, the color comes out of it and stains badly. A nightmare for projection surfaces and similar. I personally only supply white, paper based confetti, and use light cues to give it color.

Late to the party here but haven't ever had a short with the aluminized mylar but have seen the paper confetti stuck in fans fairly frequently, and that may have caused a popped ballast rectifier or two.

my late father used to complained bitterly about the use of confetti and it getting into the gubbins and shorting of most of the VL's he worked on when the came into the repair dept at PRG Longbridge
