Jared you simply RULE! I am using this this arvo with some deaf kids. Most videos are just rubbish for my needs. Your enthusiasm, and gestures and captioning are helpful. thanks!

This was GREAT! Homeschooling my kindergartener, and it was totally useful and funny, too! He really enjoyed it! Thanks!

Physics (F=ma) test: “Without”applying the Energy from within you, choose an object of your choice, and apply only the Force or Net Force needed to push it away from you or pull it towards you. Please let me know if you’re able to. This is only a test. Thank you.

I showed this video as an introduction to forces in a gr 3 class. I had one student who has been confused ever since as "air" is not one of the 5 forces we then covered over the next month. My fault though for not looking ahead in the curriculum (first time w/gr 3 science).

please note that it is not the air coming out of the balloon pushing on the table top or the air outside the balloon that makes the balloon move. it is the force of the air coming out that makes it move. if it was the other way around then rockets could not work in space where there is no air.

There's no pulling force, pull is just the DESCRIPTION of moving something towards you, BUT the physical mechanics is push. To make something move requires a force. You have to get behind the object to make it move. You can't physically move it from infront of the object. E.g.. To "pull" a door handle you have to put your hand over the handle and PUSH the door handle towards you. PULL is just the DESCRIPTION.

Push and pulls should be what be getting taught to kids when they are in preschool, as for preparation for when they grow up, and get to primary school.

Magnetism aside which nobody honest claims to understand, can you provide a practical example of a pulling force creating motion and acceleration?

When you think something is being pulled you will find its actually being pushed, as in a chain, the link in front is pushing the one behind.
