it might be able to but IMO big figs need a redesign to give them more leg posability.

the old technic figs where fully posable! this shouldn't be to hard.

I think Lego is going to include lizard and a brick built sandman as mystery characters kind of like they did with the Black panther War on the water set

It can probably hold the figure on its stud but the friction of the hole on the other end probably wouldn't hold for that.

Spider-Man has printing for his boots but the other characters don’t have shoe printing

Unless if there's going to be another set I think it would have been nice for them to include sandman and lizard but I guess Lego doesn't have the guts to add more minifigs to a small set.
