You just hit right to the point!!! I came from Bangkok and struggled with dressing up in Germany at the beginning. Now after 12 years, I dress up just like you and can't remember how to dress up properly when I visit Bangkok anymore. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It's the short hair. Asian elders immediately associate short hair on girls with coming out cuz we can't possibly just simply like short hair for styling or ease of care reasons. When I came back from 1 year in Japan with short hair, my aunt asked me the same thing.

As an Italian who can recognize Germans on vacation from far away, you do like German indeed, nicely done.

As a German I like to add that we tend to still wear Jeans instead of joggers

Meanwhile, somewhere in Germany, a lesbian after her trip to Vietnam:
“I’m home!”
“Are you straight now?”
“No, this is just how they dress in Vietnam”

Because of her skits, I really want to live in Germany. I love America, of course. But it seems like I might feel much happier there. 😌

as a German, no one here puts effort into their outfits which is why i feel the urge to compliment every single person who doesn't wear the same thing everyone else does

I still remember the first time I returned to Vietnam after 2 years of studying abroad in Germany. My father was so shocked when he saw me, he shoved all my clothes away, gave my mom his bank card and she drived me through dozens of shops in the area, basically restyling me and my entire closet. All to make me looked like someone who studied abroad 😂
