Painter/ photographer/ sculptor / silver jewellery maker / scarf designer/ ballet enthusiast et al … they all pull me in every day … passionately - for decades I have found ways to pull them all together and yes, I have several Instagram accounts and 3 web site etc. I started creating images that incorporate my sculptures and painting and photography. My painting goes into my scarf designs and thankfully I can use my past career as a web developer and photographer to market everything. Slowly I am pulling them together in terms of branding and common themes as you say. This is great advice and I’m so glad there are lots of people in the same boat who refuse to ‘pick one’ … absolutely impossible. The amalgamation continues… :-)

I feel it so strongly... in my case, in addition to music and art, I also do "handicrafts", and within that I also do various trades: for example, blacksmithing or woodworking or leatherwork. For years, society has more or less forced me to do a "normal" job. (I´m living in Germany as a half-Finnish half-German)
Thank God I have now found peace of mind and am currently furnishing my house so that I can pursue my arts without spending two-thirds of my time moving things around. Well, it also helped that my children are now grown up and out of the house and that my former partner has found someone richer than me. lol.
I only discovered your channel a few weeks ago and immediately felt at home in a multi-artistic way. In that sense, I'm happy to see that you are addressing this issue and tackling it. I'm still looking for the best way to publish "myself".
loving greetings to you once around the world

Wow on my homepage I stumbled across a musical and visual artist obsessed with the 1920s, I think I just peeked into a portal of the future dude you’re me but a little older that’s wild.

Yes! Musician, Artist, Writer, here. 📍and I have been told: One Band, One Sound. But, it doesn't make sense to who I am. Ok! Look for Cohesive Branding. Conjoin graphics, music, and writing. I'm in the messy middle of it. I did find I am not building my ship, I built a Lighthouse. I like living in the Lighthouse. It has electricity 😂😂😂

This was lovely!! I’ve always had this problem and I’d generally get burnt out by the dread of time going so fast and the money involved. I think a lot about Patti Smith and how she did several things at once, just chasing the fire and what moves her! I’d want to be like that one day! But thank you for this video!!

Yes! All that advice about "pick one" or "time management" when you just can't do only one thing even for a few weeks (days) and don't have enough time for all of them.

I'm a scholar and writer who then went into coaching because it seemed like a decent business model and I had been doing it with friends and family for ages. But then, I discovered that I can't focus on it due to my strong creative urges. Now doing a bit of visual art in various mediums, like learning to draw better on paper and digitally, but also video and image editing, developing a fantasy TV series that combines the visual appeal with the writing. I'm just ALWAYS short of time and energy for doing all I want to do - and it has always been that way from my teens.

The most challenging thing is to devote time and energy to finding ways to make money when I just want to create all sorts of stuff or train new skills.

Now thinking about how to either integrate it all in my current channel (which is also bilingual German and English) or if I should create another channel for the creative endeavours...

i like this video, this is a great answer to a question lots of people are trying to ask themselves. the beginning was a great display of the talent you have for creativity. i want to hear more about your characters, for example the dragon creature at the end. i think that is a cute character who i would love to see in more videos but maybe change its voice sound (pitching up makes voices cuter but also distorted and potentially annoying). this video was trying to balance "authenticity" with "providing content" and I think you did a great job! also if you add a "climax" point towards the end your videos will stick in people's heads better. good luck to you and perth! keep creating!

Love your music. Love your art. Always happy to listen to whatever you have to say. And yeah, it did kinda devolve into a brain fart near the end, but that's okay. I am also a Jazz Muso and Artist so fully understand where you were going with this. Would love to hear you do some Jazz Standards, maybe a bit uptempo, or show us the process of creating one of your drawings. Ideas/planning, rough sketches, inking in and details.
