Stupid question... on a onside kick, after you have kicked, can you increase chances of catching by holding any of the catch buttons... Or is it more about a perfect kick.... lve watched people do this and almost recover the ball every time..

Sometimes I lob a ball to my receiver after he beats the CB, but the CB will pick it off still. Is it because I pass lead up or don't high pass the lob? I also haven't been using the L2 freeform for the lobs so maybe that's why?

I press Y on an aggressive catch and it always gets swatted away

I don't understand because every pass is a lob pass for me, doesn't matter if i press the button quickly or hold it in, the ball always goes to where the receiver is going to be and not where he is currently at.
