I have an 11 year old cat who has had upper respiratory problems most of his life.
A few months back he developed a massive swollen lump on his forehead which burst open before I could get him to vet. I suspect his brother had bitten him without me knowing & this was a result of a bite that had healed over but caused a bacterial infection under the skin. After 3 rounds of antibiotics (just finished round 3 yesterday) & vet wanting to do X-rays I cannot afford the sore has finally healed leaving a scar.
My problem is that Merlin (my black velvet baby) is still having runny eyes & his right nasal passage is snotty & I have to wash his nose to soften & remove to clear that side of his nose so that he can breathe better.
I give him HomeoPet feline nose relief drops in his food to help him breathe better.
After over $600 in vet bills he still has these problems. You can hear the congestion & I’m at a loss as to what to do now. The vet has had no answers for me & it’s a try this and come back again & again & again.
I also have been using Little Remedies saline drops to try to help with that side he’s having problems with.
I have tried giving him L-Lysine in his food but it seems to cause him to throw his food back up.
Feeling kinda like a failure here😢

I love your advice and use on my own animals. Our dog Buddy is 11 years old and is a golden lab. He went blind 2 years ago, he has allergies to chicken, so I use fresh food and salmon .Just recently got glycoma and now we give him eye drops .I try to stay away from medications for him. The vet gave us rymadrl for athoritus. I wondered if CBD would be better. Do you have any advice for us, I don't want him on pills that just destroy his liver and kidneys.I am looking into massage therapy and acupressure. Any advice would help. Thanks Tina

My cats won't eat their food with your omega krill oil caps.. Plus. When I risk jabbing myself trying to open the gel cap with a pin, I lose most of it all over my fingers. Any other ways to administer this? Ty
