Don’t worry, we still have Cobra Kai on Netflix and I’m so annoyed that the Karate Kid and Back To The Future movies keep coming to Netflix and leaving Netflix every year or so. Plus, we have the JAWS Movies on Netflix right now.

Back in c. 2015, I discovered the trilogy on Netflix. I didn’t get to watch 2 and 3 because they left before I could. Annoyed, I just bought the Blu-Ray set of the trilogy so I can watch them whenever without worrying about what Netflix is doing with them. Still, it sucks that it’s going AGAIN because Netflix is definitely easier and more convenient 😕

Okay so it's a rights issue, they only sign for a certain amount of time. Then they lease it out to another streaming site for a while. Netflix doesn't, own the Karate Kid franchise. Also this is an American thing, it's still available in Canada, and most likely in the international markets. Also if you're a karate Kid fan you probably should buy them. If you own the physical copies you don't have to worry about these things.

Yes, you’re right about Netflix putting the KK movies on then taking them off again repeatedly. Maybe since they are the source of Cobra Kai now, they only bring them back so fans can watch the originals.
