I dont think people realize how much of a terrifying death this really is. Man just wanted to go home and relax, then winds up drowning inside a flipped over pickup truck. This is awful. My condolences to the family.

Drowning is so horrible due to the fact that you are awake and experiencing every single second of your death up until blackout. You know what's happening by the time you're starting to fade. You just cant stop it.

I live in southeast Texas, but I don’t remember this storm. I remember the flood in 2017 and 2019. My house flooded both times. The 2017 storm was when my ex husband drowned in his truck. We got some crazy weather down here!

That’s terrible!! Having to deal with the ever deepening water and realizing his situation was getting worse and worse had to have been terrifying and miserable. I honestly can’t imagine. RIP Darren

Goddamn drowning I've been there done it twice survive the die twice came back I feel bad for the kid all you want is to go home me I live on the Pacific Island add mother nature is not kind tropical storms tornadoes heavy rain for a month earthquakes tsunami my people we got so used to it I have a tropical storm all right time to go barbecue are we going to have a tornado all right time to put plywood on the windows and to go barbecue oh no earthquake 7.1 oh that's not going to hit us you can know where it comes for earthquake is a tsunami a big tile wave don't worry our ancestors to protect us we got the reef we feel bad for our neighbors who is for a different Islands in countries who's going to get hit from it hello Kitty have a thunderstorm everybody go get the broom and towels look up block out the door insult the water out and there's been my life for 23 years and yeah I feel bad for the kid
