Dream Hacking [FULL VERSION] [HD]

Introducing Dream Hacking, my Final Year Creative Project for University. Inspired by 'Inception', my aim was to combine my skills as magician with my knowledge of dreams to 'hack' into someones dreams and implant an idea in their mind. This video is that results.

I understand this video is CONSIDERABLY longer than what I normally upload. It is a one off special and i'd appreciate it if you took the time to make yourself a cup of tea and give it a full watch.

This is so amazing. I know it's just your unaverage magic trick, but it's the best one I have seen so far in my life. The combination of lucid dreaming and magic tricks is the best ever. Ah that's awesome to hear. Glad you enjoyed it so much. A lot of the Lucid Dreaming community seem to have taken offence to this video so I'm glad that you appreciate it for what it is. Sounds like you're very advanced in Lucid Dreaming. It really is incredible though isn't it? :)

I find dreams so fascinating and this is just awesome! I don't know if any form of dream guessing (like you did with the public) would work on me because I either I don't dream or I'm never conscious of the fact that I have. I've sort of experienced what sounds like lucid dreaming but for 6 years now I've never not had a 'lucid dream' so I don't really consider them dreams, more thoughts when I'm sleepy, because even if I wake up and open my eyes, switch of my alarm, I can shut them and go back into it. It's like I'm devising a play. I don't know if that's dreaming or not?

Actually Hacking into someones dreams is an illusion. It can only be achieved through knowledge of Lucid Dreaming and Magic. It's not something i'm 'releasing' to magicians any time soon. Learning Lucid Dreaming alone will be an awesome experience I guarantee it. But as I said, Dream Hacking itself is an illusion.

haha, I do apologise. Regarding how to control your own dreams. Google 'Lucid Dreaming', you'll find loads of guides. I recommend reading the book 'Exploring the World Of Lucid Dreaming' as a good starting point.

Regarding the dream hacking thing, baring in mind i'm mixing magic techniques with lucid dreaming it's quite easy to tell if i'm in someone else's dream. The whole dream they create looks radically different and sometimes there are major parts of the environment missing....

Crazy, Steve!!! I have the weirdest, most abstract dreams. After seeing "Inception", that is the only way I can describe them. They are full of people, places and things I've never seen or done before. So, I find dreams really fascinating! This was interesting!

Cheers :) Well it depends on how technical you want to get regarding definitions. I would class this as Mentalism. But it's an effect that hasn't really been done before, I like the fact it sits quite nicely between something impossible and something possible. People aren't quite sure what to make of it.

I like Alain Nu's definition: Magic is something that is impossible, Mentalism is something possible.

Dream Hacking is impossible but it does have a mentalism feel to it. :)
