Have You Seen This Movie? #31

Released on July 6th, 1964, _A Hard Day’s Night_ was the very first feature film starring the iconic rock band known as the Beatles. Directed by Richard Lester, the story focuses on a day-and-a-half in the life of the Fab Four leading up to a televised concert gig. The lads are constantly on the run from their crazed fans and from their manager, who is constantly trying to rein them in. However, Ringo is arrested and still isn't in the studio a half-hour before air time. With Paul's grandfather available for additional comical relief, the group performs a dozen or so songs. I actually got this movie for my 24th birthday back on October 3, 2023, but I didn’t get a chance to watch it until March 4th, 2024. If I’m being completely honest, I thought it was a pretty good movie. Seeing the Beatles play as themselves in their first ever feature film was quite interesting to see, not to mention that I was even bopping my head along to some of their songs throughout it. Have any of you seen this movie before, or at the very least heard of it? If not, I highly recommend that you give it a watch, especially if you’re a big Beatles fan. If anybody’s wondering if I’m gonna do this to any of the other Beatles movies, it’s kind of up for debate at the moment. The reason I say that is because most of the movies I tackled in this series were the beginnings of major franchisees such as the _Terminator_ movies, the _Back of the Future_ trilogy, and the _Indiana Jones_ series. in other words, if I tried doing it with any of the other installments of those franchises, it would feel like I’m somewhat repeating myself. That being said, I don’t know if the same thing would apply to any of the Beatles movies given that they don’t have any continuity with each other as far as I know. If none of what I said makes any sense, then I’m n what will.
