I'm just getting started with Wagner. Am 87 years old and have been listening to classical music all my life. My favorite music was at the Goodwill store in Denver. I would go there often during WW2. They had an upstairs and that's where I spent Mostafa of my time, while mom was downstairs going through the clothing bins to find clothes she could alter for us kids. She was very proficient in the use of her Singer sewing machine. We had a friend who saved me a portable record player. It became my best friend. I was on my way. When I look back I can't understand why I missed Wagner. Now that I've discovered him I am really impressed with his music. I can't pronounce most of his music but I am enjoying his music in spite of that.
